     Houn Hooke, Sydney 95/100 
     An encouraging new maker from Manjimup, fielding
     good chardonnay as well. Chocolate, earth and toasty 
     barrel aromas over dark cherry. Rich, deep and fleshy
     in the mouth. Layered and stately with terrific length
     and savoury tannins. Most impressive.
     Now to 2016 - plus.

      If you prefer delicate, understated chardonnay, this is your bag.
      It's fruit driven but has enough underlaying complexity,
      with nectarine to the fore, while it's light and soft and beautifully
      focused in the mouth.
